  • 13/08/15A-Level Results Day 2015

Radyr Sixth Form would like to congratulate our year 12 and 13 students for achieving some of the best results in our school's history.  At A-level, 65% of students' grades were A*-B, 83% were A*-C and the A-Level pass rate was a staggering 99.4%, (a new record).

This year saw the Advanced Welsh Baccalaureate Diploma being graded for the very first time.  Our students have responded fantastically to this new challenge, with 89.4% achieving A*-B grades and 100% achieving A*-C grades. Congratulations must also go to our year 13 students who passed BTEC qualifications in Information Technology and Applied Science. The pass rate at BTEC was 97.8% with a third of all students achieving at least a distinction which is equivalent to an A grade at A-Level. Fifteen year 12 students achieved a full A-Level in Mathematics in just one year. Incredibly, 93.3% of these student achieved either an A* or A grade.
