Applying to Radyr Sixth Form

If you are interested in studying at Radyr, please find all the information you need below. We accept applications from students right through the academic year and recommend that students applying from other schools arrange a tour with the Director of Sixth Form.

  • 24/10/14A Great Start for the Seniors

     It has been a good start to the year from the Radyr Seniors football team. They have gone unbeaten this half term beating some great sides along the way.

    We started the year with a friendly match against last year’s Welsh cup semi-finalists Brynteg High School from Bridgend. Radyr ran out 2-1 winners with goals from Nick Hill and Tom Thorpe.

    This year's Sambathon was a huge success with the beat being kept going for 4 hours!

  • 09/10/14Proposed Strike Action

    The proposed strike action by UNISON, GMB and UNITE planned for 14 October has been cancelled.  This means that the school will be open as usual to all pupils and staff and the canteen facilities will be serving food at break and lunchtime.



  • 09th OctY6 Open Evening

    Wednesday 15 October: The Year 6 Open Evening will start at 6:30pm in the sports hall, followed by a tour of the school with our 6th form students.
